St. Mary’s Center, Inc. offers quality health care and supportive services for people living with HIV/AIDS. We operate an adult day health care (ADHC) program and a resident health care facility (RHCF) Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in historic Morningside Heights Manhattanville, in Harlem, New York. Our mission is to provide quality healthcare, addiction counseling, abstinence support and social services to people living with HIV/AIDS. and their families. We work to ensure that the special needs of this population are met and we assist them in adopting healthy lifestyle behaviors. We currently serve approximately 120 clients and 40 residents from all five boroughs of New York City, creating a tight-knit, supportive community with our members and staff.

Our program is structured to maintain an intimate atmosphere where clients, residents and staff can form relationships. Since we only serve approximately 120 members, the staff truly gets to know our clientele, therefore we can better address their needs and problems. Clients and residents feel more comfortable at St. Mary’s in this nurturing atmosphere and are more willing to adopt healthy lifestyle behaviors. This setting also allows clients and residents to become a family among themselves; creating friendships that encourage and motivate one another. St. Mary’s boasts its small size in comparison to other facilities because we have created this tight-knit community based in fellowship.
